This soap dish is made from gutta percha by the Goodyear Rubber Company for private purchase by sailors. The dish is in two pieces with a mirror in the top piece; the top has the words “Don’t Give Up The Ship” stamped in a circle. Inside the circle is stamped “USN” and an anchor.
